Kirtland's Warbler, photo reference with permission Vince Cavalieri. The Kirtland's warbler, an endangered songbird, nests in young jack pine stands in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Canada. Michigan is the core of its breeding habitat. After nesting and rearing its young, this warbler migrates to wintering grounds in the Bahamas.
About Lora Duguay
Lora Duguay has been creative since childhood, but when her life was affected by Post Polio Syndrome, her hobby became her full time career. Her artistic creativity has been focused on the cultural beauty of indigenous tribes, nature, and iconography. Mediums include oil, pastels, colored pencil, scratchboard and photography. Her art has been exhibited in various museums and galleries throughout the United States. She is a member of The Association of Miniature Artists. Lora is also a member of VSA Florida, now Arts4All Florida, having participated on their Board of Directors, as well as Artist in Residency Program sharing her artistic knowledge with students who have special needs.
