This image is of Mr. and Mrs. Sanchez, they are my Daugther in law's Granparents. They live in Zacatecas, Mexico. In the painting you can see a"Clay Oven" they use it to bake cookies and goodies for the family and friends. Mr. Sanchez is wearing a "Hay Hat" to protect himself of the sun, while he is working in the fields planting beans and corn. He's 90 years old. Mrs. Sanchez is wearing a "Rebozo" she uses it for protection from cold and she wears it for Church also. They have been married for 75 years and have 6 children.

Lora Duguay has been creative since childhood, but when her life was affected by Post Polio Syndrome, her hobby became her full time career. Her artistic creativity has been focused on the cultural beauty of indigenous tribes, nature, and iconography. Mediums include oil, pastels, colored pencil, scratchboard and photography. Her art has been exhibited in various museums and galleries throughout the United States. She is a member of The Association of Miniature Artists.
